Meet Franklin Penguin. Franklin likes dancing, piano music, and Peanuts.
Our newest style of penguin, is reminiscent of the Little Blue Penguins we saw at the Royal Albatross Centre in New Zealand. Little Blue Penguins are the world’s smallest penguin. In Dunedin, they come tumbling out of the surf, make their way over the sand and rocks and wait for the others to arrive before they head to their burrows.
This adorable ball of fluff is made from ultra-soft, good for cuddling, faux fur for its blue and white body. The eyes are embroidered, so there are no hard pieces – nothing to scratch or choke on. The black, glossy feet and nose are made from black tricot for better waddling and eating. And he’s stuffed full of hypoallergenic, flame-retardant holofiber.
Franklin is approximately 7.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide with a 7-inch resting wingspan. He is about 12 inches in circumference around the bell – just the right size for squeezing. When you adopt Franklin, $5 from the adoption fees will be donated to the Royal Albatross Center in New Zealand. (Price also includes shipping and handling.)
