What does travel have to do with creativity?
According to Csikszentmihalyi (2013), places where creativity flourished were at the intersection of cultures. Traveling allows you to become a microcosm of places like Ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy and 19th Century France. You gain new knowledge, and if you do it right, you replenish your well while increasing the life experience you can draw from. Walt Disney, Ed Catmull, Will Smith, and artist DaNi are among the people who recommend travel to improve creativity. Unfortunately, travel can be expensive and take too much time. If that’s the case, you can read about other people’s travels and watch travel videos. It’s like a small booster shot until you can make your next trip. Our links below highlight some of our travel adventures. For more, check out our travel archive at weebly.
