We’re doing a Countdown to Halloween 2026 on Patreon. This year’s theme will be “How to Draw a Pumpkin Patch.” If you are interested, you’re going to need the following supplies (affiliate links ahead):

1. A Patreon Subscription for our Patreon at $1 or above (Optional).
2. A pad of paper (The one pictured is 4×6 inches wit 100 pages). (May substitute with any number and size of sheets of paper as long as they can be drawn on. The more sheets you have, the more you can practice.)
3. A pencil
4. A pencil sharpener
5. A black drawing pen
6. Crayons or markers or both or something else that will add color (Optional).

I got my supplies at the $1.25 store.

You Can Draw

Too often people complain they can’t draw. Rubbish! You can draw. You just have to remember how you did it in your childhood when suns and flowers had faces and your art ended up on the fridge. This isn’t about comparing yourself against someone else or against some perfect image in your head. It’s about exercising your ability to create something.

If that’s too high-falutin’, it’s about having fun in what you make. The process is more important than the goal.
