St. Patrick’s Day 2020 Penguin Parade

When events started getting canceled and St. Patrick’s Day 2020 parades country-wide became victims of the pandemic, I wanted to do something to help those who love St. Paddy’s Day. Of course, I had to use what I had, so my wife and I put together this penguin parade! The video will go live at 9am West Coast time on March 17.

St. Patrick’s Day 2020 penguin parade goes live at 9am west coast time on March 17.

Parade Guests

Our Lego mini-figs (affiliate link) are lining the street to see the penguins go by. Which celebrities can you see? Our special Grand Marshal shows why cats don’t have their own parades, and our penguins march to the beat of a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade tune. A combination of live action and stop motion, we hope you enjoy this parade and can share it (digitally, over the Internet, and on social media) with your friends and family.

About the Participants

My wife handmade each penguin, flat friend, and their outfits for the occasion. While Patch and Penny have their home, Persimmon is still looking for her forever home; she’s the penguin in the plaid outfit. Franklin, Little Leroy and the two other little blue penguins are also looking for their homes.

Adopt Your Own

If you enjoy this St. Patrick’s Day 2020 parade, comment below, share his page, and give it a thumbs up. If you want more like this, let us know and join our Patreon. The penguins are waiting to be adopted. Check them out here or at Etsy. Flat friends help support The Penguin Place, and full-sized penguins help support the Royal Albatross Centre. If you love penguins and are looking for a fun book, “There Are No Penguins in Alaska” is great to color, and “Polly Penguin Wants to Fly” supports Tiritiri Matangi (also available on Amazon). Thank you so much for watching our little parade. We hope it brought some joy into your life!
